FTMTA Grass & Muck 2016
This year’s FTMTA Grass & Muck event was a great success with great crowds on the day coupled with lovely weather following an initial early morning shower.
Kverneland showcased its full range of Tarrup grass machinery along with a static display of machines from its other machinery lines. On the demo field various different mowers, rakes and tedders were in action.
The new TA 3336 MT mower conditioner was one of the highlights of the Kverneland line up. Coupled with a TA 3632 front mounted mower conditioner customers had the opportunity to experience this class leading mowers suspension system in action.The new suspension concept delivers constant ground pressure and hydraulic adjustment of overlap.The popular and well proven TA 4332 Trailed Mower Conditioner with BX swarter was also in action on the day.
Following the mowers the new TA 8576 7.6m 6 rotor tedder displayed its excellent tedding abilities to leave crop free of any lumps to provide excellent wilting of the heaviest of crops. The complete machine, except the PTO shaft is 100% maintenance-free.
Raking of crop was completed by the TA 9472 C and the new TA 9580 C machines. The new 9580C 8m rake is a new high end centre swath rake with a very robust design for operating in rough, demanding terrain. It offers up to 8.0m adjustable working width and very compact dimensions during transport.
Also present on the day was the winner of our successful Tedder Competition, Sheila Collins from Clonakilty, Co. Cork. Sheila was presented with her prize of a Kverneland Tarrup 8055 Tedder from Kverneland Ireland sales staff Paraic McCarthy and Leonard Hovenden.
