The event showcased the full range of machinery from the Kverneland, Vicon & McConnel Brands and over the two days over 1,000 visitors from across the 32 counties came along to see the latest offering from Kverneland Group Ireland.

The focus of the exhibition was to launch the iM Farming concept in Ireland and Rolf Allmendinger from Crop Care Nieuw Vennep gave a detailed presentation on the subject of Isobus and what role Kverneland are playing in its development. Also available were demo pillars where dealers and members of the public got the chance to see the benefits & simplicity of using the system for themselves, copies of the iM Farming magazine were also quickly snapped up.

Over 50 machines were on display from all franchises and new products launched in Ireland for the first time included the MC-Drill Pro, the 150S plough and the Qualidisc which was highly commended by many visiting customers.

On Wednesday evening Mr. Matt Dempsey from the Irish Farmers Journal, Irelands leading agri sector journalist presented an outlook on the prospects for agriculture in the coming years. This was very well received by the large audience with the clear message that the agricultural industry looks set for a promising future which will hopefully ensure that the resurgence in sales of agricultural equipment will continue.

A free customer draw was held with the prize on offer being a Vicon RO-C twin disc fertilizer spreader. A large number of entries were received and the winner was Eddie Horgan from Ballybunion, Co. Kerry who currently has a Vicon PS spreader and is now looking forward to using his new machine on his grassland farm.

There was a strong representation of factory personnel who we would like to thank for assisting us in making the event a success including Per Arne Salvesen from Kv Klepp, Bernt Vikesa from Kv Klepp, Alessio Zizza from Kv Modena, Carsten Rasmussen from Kv Kerteminde, Thomas Rosengaard Poulsen from Kv Kerteminde, Rolf Allmendinger from Kv Nieuw Vennep, Ruud Zwirs and Rob Stalma from Kv Mechatronics as well as representatives from McConnel Ltd.

Both dealers and customers were impressed by the large range of machinery on offer and the positive mood which was witnessed over the two days can hopefully set up Kverneland Group Ireland for a successful year.
