Kverneland Group Ireland exhibited machines from both the Kverneland and Vicon brands and the large number of visitors to the stand was testament to the high regard which these machines are held in in Ireland. Demonstrated on the day was the TA5090 in combination with the TA3632 front mower, the best-selling TA4332LT trailed mower, a TA8055 tedder and finally we used the TA9472C for raking. From the Vicon stable, we worked the mounted MoCo Extra 628T. On static display were a number of smaller plain mowers.Being placed beside one of our main rivals meant that we had to ensure our machines worked efficiently and judging by the quality of the finish in the plot and the many favourable comments from visiting customers Kverneland did not disappoint.Our static stand was also kept busy throughout the day with customers who wished to obtain product brochures and also sales of the Kverneland branded merchandise were good.Plans are already underway for the next Grass & Muck event in 2014. Grass and Muck 2012
The FTMTA’s flagship event for 2012 was the Grass & Muck demonstration day which was held at Gurteen College, Co. Tipperary on the 17th May. The weather on the day managed to stay dry and visitor numbers reached almost 10,000 which was up considerably on 2010.
